Code of Conduct
Scope
This code applies to and amongst all owners, managers, and staff members (collectively, “Employees”) of Shillow beer company (“The Company”) while they are on/in company property, at company related events or otherwise representing The Company physically or virtually, and while wearing company branded merchandise. This code will also apply to volunteers, customers, and vendors (collectively, “Associates”) of The Company while on company property, while doing business with The Company, or at company related events.
The Company may unilaterally introduce, vary, remove or replace this policy at any time.
Law and Safety
All local laws and safety regulations, both general and industry specific, must be followed at all times.
Behavior
The Company is dedicated to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all persons regardless of race, gender, appearance, body size, ability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, family status, or religion. Employees and Associates of The Company are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and integrity at all times.
Behaviours that will not be tolerated include:
- Discrimination, harassment, and bullying
- Offensive comments including shaming
- Threats and intimidation
- Unwanted or nonconsensual physical contact
- Any behaviour resulting in another person feeling unsafe
Standards of behaviour will apply at all times and do not require an injured party for disciplinary action to be taken.
Violations
Persons who fail to follow our code of conduct will meet an appropriate disciplinary action. Actions may include: warning, demotion, reprimand, detraction of benefits, removal or banishment from premises, suspension, or termination.
